the geek plan
after teaching my mom and mother-in-law how to use facebook recently, I realized that while there are quite a few blogs out there on how to use different social media and other web applications in general, there aren't many out there that show you the simple processes of setting these up and using the basic functions. that is what I plan to do with this blog. below are my thoughts on what I will cover. please comment if you have any suggestions. I look forward to learning with you.

Good! Do it! Lord knows I need all the help I can get.
(BTW, the word verification that just came up is "reersxy". Did you plan that? Is that going to come up every time?)
It seems like an awful lot! I certainly cannot think of anything to add to your lengthy agenda.
Looks great. I know I need all the help I can get. I'm new to twetter, facebook and blogging. In fact, right now if I try to follow someone new in Twitter it won't let me. When I click the follow button it acts like it's frozen. I emailed them asking for help.
We are at panera's spending a little time before driving to airport to pick up daughter and grandsons. Then her hubby is driving up Wednesday for Thanksigiving. Looking forward to spending extra time with them.
Once again, great blog idea. Have a great weekend!
dang, those are a lot of sites for social networking help. lol
I was sucked into Facebook not long ago by friends and relatives, but I still prefer Blogging.
you may want to reserve a post for "etiquette" on each of the social networking sites: how much is too much Facebook "poking"? What is a socially-acceptable number of twitters/day, and how many of those can be self-promoting? How do you recognize a spam blog (or spam twitter-follower)? These are things I wish more people knew. Great ideas!
great idea, joanna, i'm adding it to my list of ideas for this blog!!
